I have been watching the daycare kids for my mom so she could go to Bristol to see Brenda. So I havent had time to update. I havent had time to do much other than watch the kids & sleeping. Michael has been watching Logan & generally being a good daddy & boyfriend. He even let me sleep all night last night instead of getting up with Logan.

We havent been doing much really. We are suppose to go to a birthday party today @ 3. Maybe I will update when we get back.

That would be what Logan & me do everyday - play with photo booth. I ♥ my MacBook!!!!!!I will be so happy when we don't have to write down every time Logan eats or has a dirty diaper - its pretty annoying. I think I'm going to have to reschedule his appointment on Friday for next week but I'm not completely sure yet. He will so much more fun when he doesn't sleep 16 + hours a day. I don't have much to update about really since he doesn't do much - sorry.

We are going to look at a house for rent some day this week. We both really want it badly. Its not really a house house its more like a mini house in someones back yard. But we know the lady who is moving out & she says they are great people. We have been there once & it was cute not very big but we don't need a lot of room at the moment & i really think it would be better then living here, but i don't know we will go see it & then talk about it.

Sundays are always boring.

Today has been a pretty good day.

Michael stayed up/got up with Logan all night last night so I got some sleep 6 1/2 hours actually. I feel really good. So changed him & fed him which took an hour,then he went back to sleep. I did the dishes & washed bottles. Around 815 I decided to go lay back down so I got Logan out of his crib thing & brought him to bed with me ( Michael was sleeping on the couch) - never went to sleep so me & Logan played with photo booth on my laptop. He seems to like computers already he'll probably be a big computer nerd like his daddy.

When it was time to eat again he ate pretty well almost 2 ounces. It always takes him so long to eat 2 ounces about an hour each time. Hes been awake ever since then looking around and making noises. I put him in the floor & got down to play with him a little when the dogs came up to him. He just stares at them so intently I find it funny. They cuddled up to him a little bit and sniffed his ears. Logan seems to really like Dumple or I think so cause he keeps grabbing his leg.

We took Logan to my moms today for about 3 hours. Michael and me went and got dinner & spent a little time alone - the whole time we talked about how much we missed Logan. I hate this weather I wish it was warmer it would take so much less time to take Logan out, oh well. When we came home Logan went to sleep right after we fed & changed him ( no surprise there). We rented the new X-files movie & it was pretty bad but good at the same time since it was X-files. I really want the seasons.

So the first few nights haven't been that bad. I just cant bring myself to sleep when he sleep - which apparently I'm suppose to do. I'm just nervous I guess, but I'm getting better at it cause both Michal & me slept today while Logan was sleeping. He seems to be a pretty good baby, he doesn't really cry unless he needs something & then he stops as soon as his needs are met. I hope that it lasts but a lot of people are telling me that the first week is always the easiest because they pretty much just sleep - i guess we will see. Dumple & Ebony seem to love him or at least like him a lot. They run into the room whenever he cries & always look out for him when hes in his glider. As for him he doesn't seem to notice them at all even when the lick him.

We took Logan to the doctor yesterday morning. He did alright, cried the most i have ever heard him cry when he was naked & getting examined. He also pooped right in the middle of the exam luckily we still had his diaper
on. We have to take him back next Friday to make sure hes gaining enough weight. After the doctor we ran to petsmart so i could buy potty pads & all the girls I work with ran out to the car to see Logan & Michael, everyone thinks hes the cutest little 5 day old they have ever seen. After that we went to my moms house, we had to run some errands so we left him there for about 2 hours. Went to the medical supply store & bought 4 packs of wipes like we got at the hospital ( i love those things), gauze pads for his circumcision, and alcohol pads for his stump cleaning. After that we went to Ben Franklin and got some stamp ink and a little reindeer stuffed animal. When we got back to my moms she was feeding him so that was taken care of.

After my moms house we went to Susie's (Michael's aunt) work to show off Logan since she has been so much lately with the dogs. Everyone there loved him & just had to hold him. Next we to Ella's( Michael's mom) work to show off Logan. I never knew Michael's mom had worked there for so long & that most of the people she works with have pretty much known Michael his whole life. Well they all also loved Logan ( its hard not to) and seemed to be pretty happy Michael is a daddy now. Last night my friend Jenny came over & hung out with us - my mom also came over. We ordered Chinese & watched the sex & the city movie. My mom mostly just held & fed Logan.

Today we just stayed around the apartment. I finally got more than 2 hours of sleep. Like I said I just seem to be to nervous to sleep if Michael isn't awake with him. So Michael sent me to bed when he was fully awake. I also luckily got to get in a nap this afternoon. It pretty much was just a lazy day with diaper changes & feedings in between. Ella came by around 4pm and fed Logan lol. Next my mom came over and brought over lots of food & generally just hung out with the baby. Casey also came over to bring Michael some things he will need for Walgreens. I'm so excited about this job & so is he. After about a month of him working there both Casey & him will get a $300. We will probably spend 100 of that on formula since I have decided not to breastfeed. I need to start working on the baby book & his little scrapbook. Also i should probably finish my pregnancy journals. I need to find another baby book I like - I mean I have 2 pregnancy journals I might as well have 2 baby books. Well its getting late & I should be getting to bed.

A Whole New World

So.

I honestly don't remember to much about Monday & the induction. The whole day went by
very fast to me.

We got there @ 6:45am - I got an checked in, an iv, and blood work. Dr. Haddad came in around 7:30 and put the gel stuff on my cervix & i started having contractions about 7:45. I got some painkillers that lasted about 2 hours. I got the epidural when Michael got to the hospital around 11:30. The epidural hurt pretty bad but it was well worth it. Next Dr. Haddad came in and broke my water. I couldn't feel anything from about the middle of my stomach down to my toes - my legs were so floppy & i had to have help turning over. Although my iv epidural thing wasn't working well so they gave me something that was 5 times stronger than morphine & that really did it for me. SO fast forward to about 3:3o the nurses came in and gave me oxygen because Logan's heart rate dropped a little bit. I also found out that it was time for me to push. So i pushed & pushed & pushed some more. It was an unbelievable pressure to me - i still think it was pain not just pressure but i don't know - couldn't feel anything cept for that pressure/pain during contractions & i just had to push. Anyways it wasn't much fun at all. Michael & his mom watched like the whole thing while me and my mom chose not to. The last 15 minutes where the hardest and most uncomfortable. And then all of a sudden there is a baby sitting on stomach!


I don't also don't remember what happened right after since I was crying cause of all the emotions and pain i was feeling. So since I'm also very sleepy I will put the other pictures from when were were in L&D and just update tomorrow with more pictures & thoughts about him.
