Logan is going to be staying with my mom tonight & tomorrow night. Neither me or Michael feel very well & really need some uninterrupted sleep. Tomorrow during the day Casey & me are going to get Logan & take him to visit her mom & grandma. Im also excited because seeing casey means i finally get my chocolate peanut butter balls. I look forward to those every year! Ugh we have a whole pile of things that go with Logan, its a bit insane. Oh well.

I believe I am one of those annoying parents who taken way to many pictures of my child, but i did that with my dogs so I don't know what people would expect when I finally had Logan. I need to take some dog pictures as i have been slacking with those & just taken Logan pictures.

Today we stayed at home for most of the day. Casey came over and had Tinkerbelle ( her basset hound) she pretty much stayed on the couch the entire time - apparently my dogs are intimidating ( they just think every other dog they meet is their friend). After she left we pretty much just did nothing till it was time to go to my moms. Tonight was my moms Christmas program for her work as I'm sure you read above. Well it was good & we got cake so we are happy. Logan had his eyes closed the entire time. I swear he pretends to be asleep when we are out in public. He will open his eyes a little & if someone he doesn't really know is holding him he will close them again & keep them shut. I think its much better than him crying. & I just Logan down because thankfully he fell asleep!

My mom is going to watch him all of Saturday night. I'm happy shes been working with kids so long, I don't have to worry about him as I'm sure she knows way more than I do. I think it will be funny because i believe it is Patrick's first over night baby experience. Michael & me are kind of excited since we will get to sleep straight through the night! My mom gave us $100 - 2o for helping her with the daycare kids tonight & the rest of it is an early Christmas present. We figure we might go celebrate our 3.5 anniversary. We have celebrated every anniversary we have ever had, even if its just a card or letter but we only go out for the years & half years.

Logan has his own play list on itunes. I sing to him whenever I feed him & then of course when I'm trying to get him to go to sleep. Maybe if I get bored I will list them on here but I'll probably do it on my Listography - I love that website.

Today has been boring. I know Ive said this before but I cannot wait to get back to work. I like being at home with Logan a lot but I miss getting up & having a place to go everyday. I guess I'm not cut out for this stay at home stuff, thank god we have free daycare! I just realized more than half the people who read this have never seen our apartment, i guess I will have to take pictures of it when its clean. Now that Logan is sleeping a little more in between feedings you would think I would have time to clean - but nope I sleep instead although i do keep Logan's room clean so that's something!


People keep asking me what I want for Christmas. Well i want money. I want money so I can put it in my savings account or well half of it in my savings and use whatever is left to but diapers and formula and apples. OH and i would really like a new digital camera but i know that's not happening right now! I'll probably eBay one later on in January.We went to walmart today so we could buy food we were gonna go to Costco but its to far away so why drive the 30 minutes there when walmart is like 6 minutes away. Logan slept the entire time hes such a good baby we got lucky i suppose. Walgreen's is being retarded. They all called Michael & had him come in and start everything & then just realized they didn't have his background check & then sent him home - so now hes just working at Michael's till they get that dumb background check back. They said it would be a week & kept apologizing apparently. At least he still has the job they just have to wait for the dumb background check. Its not like he was going to be doing anything but sitting in front of a computer anyways so I'm sure a few days away from that he wont mind. I think its just so dumb since nothing it going to show up. He still wants to join the military - pffft.

My moms daycare Christmas program is tomorrow night, we are going to go watch & eat the cake. Also since Michael's niece is in it we have to go. I'm sure Logan will be asleep the entire time or just ignore everyone & just stare at Michael or me. I cant believe Christmas is like next week. I cant believe Logan will be 3 weeks on Monday, it seems like he was just born time really does fly by.

On Christmas me & Michael have been together for 3.5 years, well there was that one week where we didn't talk but oh well a fight is a fight & i don't even remember what it was about now just that I was really sad that week. I suppose we will do our Christmas Eve tradition - well only part of it since we don't have a lot of money. Normally we would go to Cheesecake Factory come home & watch Love Actually, but this year it will be just watching Love Actually which is okay with both of us. Maybe we will make cheesecake ( okay Michael can make it & i will watch). We are going to be so busy on Christmas; we have to go to both of our moms houses, my grandma ( Patrick's mom) house, & we are going to see Michael's dads side of the family. I have to admit as much as I wish my dad & Lucy lived close to us so i could see them more often i don't know how we would fit everyone in!

Hm, I have run out of things to say so i guess I will call it a night. Night!

All those were taken about 10 minutes ago.

Its almost 2:30am & Logan is wide awake & has been for about an hour and a half. I'm so ready for him to go to sleep, but it doesn't really matter cause I have a horrible headache & couldn't get to sleep even if I wanted to. Its just annoying & hot its like 80 in the apartment so i turned the head off & opened the screen door. Dumple is certainly enjoying it as he is laying right beside it. I'm bored that's the only reason I'm making this post so I guess I'm going to go try to get Logan to sleep again.

Today Logan had his second doctors appointment. He is healthy & the doctor said we are doing a good job ( so we make good parents so far yay!) He now weighs 7lbs 12 oz, that means he gained 20 ounces in 10 days. We finally get to start him on a schedule - feeding him every 3 - 4 hours, probably going to be 3 hours during the day & 4 at night since he hates being woken up to be fed & never eats more then an once & a half when we wake him up at night.


I am going to be going back to work on the 29th, I honestly cannot wait. I'm excited to go back I miss the people & the all the dogs! Its only going to be for 2 -3 days for the first 2 weeks but that's probably a good thing. When I go back full time I will be working mostly morning shifts except for Friday-Sunday when I will be closing. I don't mind working late on the weekends since Michael is working them also. I cant wait till he gets a set schedule since mine can be changed easily. I think the only thing that will be hard for me is getting back to a normal sleep schedule & then having to be on Logan's as well.

I have been watching the daycare kids for my mom so she could go to Bristol to see Brenda. So I havent had time to update. I havent had time to do much other than watch the kids & sleeping. Michael has been watching Logan & generally being a good daddy & boyfriend. He even let me sleep all night last night instead of getting up with Logan.

We havent been doing much really. We are suppose to go to a birthday party today @ 3. Maybe I will update when we get back.

Today is not a good day. Not a good day at all. My aunt Brenda was stabbed by her soon to be ex-husband. He stabbed her 3 times & cut her face up. Its horrible but hes going to jail hopefully for a very very long time. My mom is going to bristol this weekend I wish I could go but Logan doesnt need to sit in a hospital.

That would be what Logan & me do everyday - play with photo booth. I ♥ my MacBook!!!!!!I will be so happy when we don't have to write down every time Logan eats or has a dirty diaper - its pretty annoying. I think I'm going to have to reschedule his appointment on Friday for next week but I'm not completely sure yet. He will so much more fun when he doesn't sleep 16 + hours a day. I don't have much to update about really since he doesn't do much - sorry.

We are going to look at a house for rent some day this week. We both really want it badly. Its not really a house house its more like a mini house in someones back yard. But we know the lady who is moving out & she says they are great people. We have been there once & it was cute not very big but we don't need a lot of room at the moment & i really think it would be better then living here, but i don't know we will go see it & then talk about it.
